This painting is of the giant leaping panther
at Panther Cave. It is about nine feet long. Notice
the tiny shaman under its body near the front legs.
This photograph is of the entire White Shaman mural. Shaman are usually painted red, black, yellow, or a combination of these colors. This shaman is unique because white paint was used in creating his image. The White Shaman mural is in good condition considering its age.
The image that has legs is often called a fish trap. Some say it looks like a television set or deer feeder, neither of which were around during the Archaic Period. No one really knows what it is. To the right there is a bird shaman.
